Princess and the Pea

The Village Hall

Sunday 24th January 2010

talking peas The year got off to a great start in Brookvale with a sell out performance of Proteus’s Princess and the Pea production.

All ages attended and enjoyed the event based on the question of how you tell if your best friend is a Prince or a Princess. The most exciting part was when the Prince had a fight with a fire breathing dragon! The hall was totally transformed by the wonderful set, which included talking vegetables (pictured).

The raffle was won by Roy Rumbold with ticket number 297.

This event generated a profit of £188.40 from tickets, programmes and tuck shop proceeds for the Community Association. We aim to run this well supported event again next year.
