Halloween
Fancy Dress Disco

The
Halloween family Fancy dress disco was enjoyed by all the children that
came along, and hopefully the grown ups too! The DJ was excellent and kept
all the children happy with games like pass the parcel and musical zombies
(statues!) with great prizes for the winners. For those who asked for his
details, he was Ed Ives-Wara and his web site is www.trubeatsdiscos.co.uk.
There
were some excellent outfits on display. The prize for the best dressed boy was
won by Thomas, who was dressed as a mummy and the best dressed girl was
Chloe, who was a gothic style witch with red hair! Leo won the best craved
pumpkin prize and the quickest apple bobber was Dan, who managed an amazing
6 seconds I think and got very wet in the process!
It was
really nice to have such a successful community event and we will be doing
it all again next year on Saturday 30th October. Many thanks to
all those who came and enjoyed the event and those that helped out.
