Successful Launch of Brookvale in Bloom

Saturday 7th March 2009
We had
a lovely sunny day for the "Gardeners Question Time" morning. Deputy
Mayor Brian Gurden opened the event, and the expert team of Sally &
Martin Burr and John Eckton fielded questions from residents to solve gardening
problems. Sally then demonstrated how to plant up containers and hanging
baskets for a glorious summer display.
Plant lists are available on our website, or contact any committee member
for a copy. The plant sales raised over £50 for Hall funds, and some
residents signed up to enter the competion on the spot! Everyone who
receives Blurb can enter their front garden, tub or hanging basket! We have
some great displays in Brookvale - so don`t be shy - let everyone know
about yours!
